Packers nipped by Dolphins, 23-20

The banged up Green Bay Packers ran out of steam in a 23-20 overtime loss to the Miami Dolphins.

The Packers put forth a great effort, with quarterback Aaron Rodgers scoring the game-tying touchdown with seconds to play.

Rodgers finished the day with 313 yards through the air with one touchdown and one interception. He also had the one rushing touchdown.

Greg Jennings finally broke out after a season-long slump, finishing with six catches for 133 yards and a touchdown. ( Read More…)

Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley will miss at least the next three weeks with a knee injury.

Finley is expected to undergo surgery on his knee, though McCarthy said he would be surprised if it ended his season.

Still, Finley was one of the team’s top passing targets and a favorite of Rodgers, especially in the red zone.

If Rodgers can’t play this week, he would have been a great guy for backup quarterback Matt Flynn to lean on. ( Read More…)
