Packers release Hawk
After much consideration, the Green Bay Packers have announced the release of linebacker A.J. Hawk.
The linebacker was scheduled to make $10 million in 2011, a number the team simply couldn’t justify.
General manager Ted Thompson said it is strictly a business decision and they hope to retain Hawk.
The team plans on trying to negotiate a new contract with the linebacker that will make more financial sense for the team. ( Read More…)
